Assignment Details

Monday (December 7)

1) Overall STEM is the class that has the most missing assignments. Because of this, today will be a work day to get caught up on anything that is missing for STEM from the past 3 weeks of remote learning. Any missing assignments have been entered in as a 0 in the grade book. When you get your missing assignments turned in, the points will be added back to your grade.

You need to check Skyward to see which assignments you are missing. It is your responsibility to use the class time today to get caught up on any missing work. If you have everything completed and have no missing assignments, you are good to go for STEM today.

Wednesday (December 9)

1) For class today you will be working on an hour of code activity of your choice. Click the link below to go to the hour of code website. Once on the website, select any hour of code activity that you would like to work on. Spend at least 15 minutes going through the activity and then complete the activity reflection form. Tuesday (December 8)

They are showing how spin has an impact on a ball dropped from the top of a dam. The spin is caused by something called the Magnus Effect. In the second video, the Youtube channel Veritasium goes through and explains why the Magnus Effect happens.  After watching the videos, complete the reflection sheet. The last day to turn in any missing assignments is at 3pm on Friday, December 18th. For class today there are no new assignments, but you have a work day to get caught up on anything that is missing for science. Any missing assignments have been entered in as a 0 in the grade book. When you get your missing assignments turned in, the points will be added back to your grade. If you have missing assignments, you should have received or be receiving an email from me letting you know that you have missing assignments. Check Skyward to see which assignments you are missing. It is your responsibility to use the class time today to get caught up on any missing work.
